One man was killed in a fiery, two-vehicle crash in Culver City Tuesday morning and a second man was hospitalized in critical condition.
L.A. city firefighters were called about 5:20 a.m. to respond to the 6800 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard, near Howard Hughes Parkway, and located one car fully involved in fire and a second vehicle rolled over, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A man in the rolled over vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene and a man in the vehicle on fire was already out of the vehicle when firefighters arrived. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition, Stewart said. The names of the victims were not disclosed.
The crash was initially reported to be in Westchester but the Los Angeles Police Department later said it was in Culver City.
As part of their investigation, the Culver City Police Department deployed a drone at the crash site.
