A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway near downtown Los Angeles, authorities said Tuesday.
The man died at the scene of his injury about 9:30 p.m. Monday in the No. 1 lane of the freeway near Third Street, according to the California Highway Patrol. The man’s identity was not known, the CHP reported.
The motorist called authorities and was not arrested, the CHP reported.
The circumstances of the death were under investigation. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the CHP Central Area office at 213-744-2331.
