Three suspects allegedly involved in a shooting at a Lancaster gas station early Wednesday morning that left a woman in critical condition were arrested in Anaheim after a short pursuit.
Deputies responded to a Mobil gas station in the 800 block of East Avenue I about 1 a.m. and found the woman sitting in the driver’s side of a car and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman, who is between 20 and 30 years old, was taken to a hospital in critical condition, the sheriff’s department reported. A 1-year-old child was in the back seat of her vehicle.
A preliminary investigation determined the woman was the victim of a robbery by two men and one woman in their 20s, the department said.
Detectives identified the three suspects and located them in Anaheim, according to the department.
After a short pursuit, the suspects were arrested for suspicion of attempted murder, the department reported. Details of the pursuit were not released
Evidence in the shooting was seized while deputies conducted a search warrant.
