The Coroner’s Office Saturday released the name of a 58-year-old man who was found shot dead, along with a woman, inside a home in Baldwin Park.
The man was identified as Wen-Dong Huang, of Rosemead, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s office said. The woman’s name was not released pending notification of next of kin.
A female suspect was taken into custody in connection with the shooting, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Baldwin Park police officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Athol Street, near Fairgrove Avenue, about 2:05 p.m. Thursday regarding a possible domestic violence report, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Huang and the woman were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. A third victim was taken to a hospital with severe but non-life threatening injuries.
A firearm was recovered at the scene, according to the sheriff’s department.
Details about the suspect were not released, but authorities said a woman was taken into custody.
