Police Monday circulated security images of a car that was involved in a hit-and-run in the West Los Angeles area that seriously injured the rider of a motorized scooter.

The crash occurred about 11:20 p.m. July 30 near National Boulevard and Manning Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The hit-and-run vehicle was described only as a black Audi. No description was available of the driver.

A standing reward of up to $50,000 has been offered by the city of Los Angeles for information that helps police solve hit-and-run cases.

Anyone with information about the crash was surged to call LAPD West Traffic Division detectives at 213-473-0234, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
