Pasadena police Tuesday evening called off the pursuit of a driver who had run red lights and cut vehicles off.

The pursuit started about 8:40 p.m. near Walnut Street and Hill Avenue, according to Lt. Marcia Taglioretti of the Pasadena Police Department. She said the vehicle also showed collision damage.

Pasadena police called off the pursuit in Glendale. It was not immediately clear if another agency took over, but California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball said it did not become involved in the pursuit and that “it stayed with Pasadena the whole time.”
