A 20-year-old man who was fatally injured when he crashed his car into a tree in Santa Ana was identified Tuesday by the Orange County coroner’s office.
The crash that claimed the life of Richard Carrasco Jr. of Santa Ana took place about 11:15 p.m. Aug. 21 on a street in Santa Ana, according to the coroner’s office.
Carrasco was transported to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana where he died Sunday about 9:45 a.m., the coroner’s office reported.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash was being investigated by Santa Ana police.
