Two men were arrested in connection with a shooting in South Los Angeles that killed a 23-year-old man and injured another 23-year-old man, police said Monday.

The shooting occurred about 1:25 p.m. Sept. 11 near 50th and Hoover streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Isaiah Hubbard was taken to a hospital, where he died, and a second victim, whose name was not released, survived the shooting and was treated at a hospital, police said.

On Tuesday, officers arrested 22-year-old Tyler Tolliver and 31-year-old Kenneth Campbell for suspicion of murder and attempted murder, according to police.

Tolliver and Campbell were charged with murder and attempted murder. Their arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 22 at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.
