Authorities Wednesday circulated photos of a suspect sought in the fatal stabbing of a jewelry store owner during a robbery in downtown Los Angeles earlier this month.
Eshagh Natanzadeh, 62, of Beverly Hills, was attacked about 9 a.m. Nov. 3 in his store in the 700 block of South Broadway, near Seventh Street, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. The suspect entered the business, stabbed him several times and left carrying a white grocery bag.
The victim died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office.
The suspect is described as 30 to 40 years old, Hispanic, 5 feet, 6 inches tall to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and about 160 to 180 pounds.
He fled on foot eastbound on Seventh Street from Broadway, then northbound on Spring Street, according to police.
