An estimated 100 plus people attended a Black Lives Matter rally in Pan Pacific Park Sunday in the Fairfax area that led to a march later protesting police abuse and violence.

The rallygoers began a march that led the to the intersection of Third Street and Fairfax Avenue in the Fairfax district, according to Los Angeles police.
LAPD officers then directed traffic away from that intersection so that demonstrators could peacefully “exercise their First Amendment Rights,” the LAPD reported.
