Police Monday hunted the killer of a man at an apartment in Anaheim, and the gunman’s motive remained a mystery.
The shooting happened in the 200 block of East Clifton Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Sunday, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Shane Carringer.
Paramedics were called to the scene but the man died where he fell, Carringer said. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Police have no suspect description and just a report that the gunman was a man, Carringer continued.
No other information about the murder was available, including motive, victim identity or killer’s description or identity.
Police set up a perimeter and searched without finding the suspect, he said.
