“The female suspect demanded the victim’s wallet and the male suspect pointed a black handgun at him and again demanded the victim’s wallet,” police said in a statement. “In fear for his life, the victim handed his wallet to the female suspect.”
The suspects drove away in an “older” dark blue Volkswagen Jetta, possibly a 2006 model, police said.
The man was described as white, in his 40s, bald, with a heavy build. He wore a gray T-shirt and jeans. The woman, also white and in her 40s, had brown hair and wore a blue shirt with a flower design, police said.
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call police at 310-253-6391.
