The U.S. Postal Service announced Friday it is hiring to fill city carrier assistant positions at post offices in the Los Angeles area as well as in Orange County.
CCA hourly wages start at $18.01 per hour with benefits, including health insurance, annual leave, and a path to becoming a career city carrier. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and available to work weekends and holidays.

All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Some positions require an exam. Any position that has a driving requirement will also require a valid driver license and clean DMV two-year driving history. Citizenship or permanent resident status is also required.

The following Santa Ana postal district post offices have openings: Dana Point, Lake Forest, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Fountain Valley, Anaheim, Corona, Trabuco Canyon, Rancho Santa Margarita, Brea, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Placentia, Tustin, Westminster, Yorba Linda, Norco and Orange.
