A man was wounded Saturday when an argument turned violent in West Los Angeles.

The shooting was reported at 2:10 a.m. on Santa Monica Boulevard at Wellesley Avenue, according to Officer A. Delatorre of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.

The 19-year-old victim was arguing with a man in his 20s when it “turned physical,” Delatorre said. The suspect fired multiple times at the victim, got into a vehicle and fled the scene.

The victim was taken by paramedics to a hospital, where his vital signs were stable, the officer said.
