A man and woman were charged Friday with human trafficking of a victim who is younger than 16.
Brandon Gene Ward, 29, pleaded not guilty to human trafficking of a victim younger than 18, pimping a prostitute younger than 16, pandering with a minor younger than 16, pandering and pimping, all felonies, according to court records.
Ward was ordered to return to court for a pretrial hearing Oct. 6 in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana.
Co-defendant Joslyn Tajee Walker, 21, was charged with human trafficking of an underage victim, primping for a prostitute younger than 16 and pandering with a minor younger than 16, all felonies.
Walker is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 6 in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana.
Orange County sheriff’s deputies in Stanton arrested the two. A sheriff’s sergeant, who is a public information officer, decline to say the age or gender of the victim.
