A 75-year-old woman who was reported missing in Azusa Wednesday has been found.
Conchita Villarta had last been seen at about 9 p.m. Tuesday near South Citrus Avenue and Arrow Highway, and the California Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Azusa Police Department.
The CHP announced just before 3 p.m. that Villarta had been found. No further details were released.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
