Authorities Wednesday identified a woman who was hit by a vehicle and killed while crossing a street in Burbank
Adrineh Nazarian, 57, of Burbank was injured at about 3:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of East Verdugo Avenue and died at a hospital, according to the Burbank Police Department.
The motorist, whose name was not released, remained at the scene and was not arrested, police said.
According to police, Nazarian was not in a marked crosswalk at the time she was struck by the vehicle.
“Investigators determined neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in regards to the driver,” police said in a statement. “Investigators have also determined that speed was not a factor.”
