Santa Monica police Friday sought public help to find the hit-and-run motorist responsible for seriously injuring a pedestrian on Halloween.

The person was injured about 1 a.m. Oct. 31 at Wilshire Boulevard and Third Street, the Santa Monica Police Department reported.

Security images were released of the possible hit-and-run vehicle, described as a white Infiniti G-series sedan with no front license plate, which will have sustained “major damage” to the windshield on the passenger side, police said.

No description was available of the motorist.

Anyone with information on the case was urged to contact Investigator Evan Raleigh at 310-458-8954 or via email at evan.raleigh@santamonica.gov; or the watch commander at 310-458-8461.
