Police Tuesday were investigating the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old man in North Hollywood.
Police responded to a call of shots fired about 7:05 p.m. Monday in the 11000 block Huston Street and found Michael Roskowick of Van Nuys sitting in the driver’s seat of a Ford SUV, suffering from gunshot wounds and being treated by paramedics, according to the Los Angeles Police Department
Roskowick was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police said Roskowick was sitting in the SUV, which was parked in the middle of the street, when he was approached by a male suspect who shot him before fleeing north on Vineland Avenue. A motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
The suspect was described as a roughly 40-year-old man, about 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds, with a bald head.
