
An 8-year-old girl was injured when shots were fired and struck her Anaheim home, police said Thursday.
The shooting was reported about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of East Valencia Avenue, said Anaheim police Sgt. Shane Carringer.

The girl, who was inside her home, was not shot, but apparently injured by unknown shrapnel or fragments when the shots hit the residence, Carringer said.
No arrests have been reported, and no description was available of a suspect or suspects. The incident was possibly gang-related.
