Police sought the public’s help Monday to locate two suspects who carjacked and Tasered a man in Culver City.
Culver City Police Department officers were called about 9:15 p.m. Thursday to the area of 6305 Green Valley Circle, near Fox Hills Park, and made contact with the victim, who said he was walking to his vehicle when he noticed the engine was on and the two suspects — one male and one female — were inside, according to a department statement.
The man grabbed onto the car from the passenger side window as the suspects began to drive away. The female suspect then used a Taser on the man, causing him to lose his grip and fall from the moving vehicle.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The suspects were last seen fleeing in the vehicle on Green Valley Circle toward Centinela Avenue, according to police.
The first suspect was described only as a male wearing all black. The second suspect was described as a female with dark hair and a heavy build, wearing a blue plaid shirt.
The victim’s car is a white 1994 Honda Accord with the California license plate 3FJX712.
Anyone with information on the carjacking was asked to contact CCPD Sergeant Eddie Baskaron at 310-253-6316 or the watch commander at 310-253-6202.
