Firefighters kept flames from getting inside a large apartment building under construction in the West Adams area of Los Angeles this evening and limited damage to the facade.
The fire was reported just after 6 p.m. at 2550 S. Thurman Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart.
Flames were showing from the outside of the four-story building and another building was exposed, but the 31 firefighters put them out in 13 minutes, Stewart said.
No injuries were reported, she said.
