Authorities Monday announced a reward of up to $50,000 for help in solving the killing of a Sylmar man who was gunned down nearly six months ago.

Alexander Aguirre, 40, was shot about 10 p.m. on Nov. 12, 2021, in the 13200 block of Maclay Street, and he died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. No arrests have been reported.

The reward was offered by the Los Angeles City Council for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects responsible for the killing.
