A woman in her late 20s was fatally injured when the vehicle she was driving struck a parked tractor trailer in North Hollywood, authorities said.
The woman was driving northbound on Laurel Canyon Boulevard at Sherman Way when she struck the tractor trailer just before 2 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division reported.
Paramedics dispatched to the scene a 1:59 a.m. rushed her to a hospital, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The woman later died from her injuries at the hospital, police said.
No further information was immediately available.
