A street takeover Saturday in the Green Meadows section of South Los Angeles left one car burned and two people arrested.

Firefighters responded to South Central Avenue and East 120th Street around 1:10 a.m for a reported car crash, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

Because of problems with the crowd, firefighters called for help from Los Angeles police, Humphrey told KTLA5. The car fire was extinguished and the burned car towed from the scene.

Two people were arrested for battery on firefighters, the station reported.
