Three people were injured Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Pasadena, authorities said.

The collision was reported about 1:15 a.m. in the 2600 block of East Washington Boulevard, said Lisa Derderian of the City of Pasadena.

Paramedics transported three people for hospital treatment of “minor to moderate injuries,” Derderian said.

A fire hydrant was sheared in the crash, and one vehicle ended up on top of power pole guide lines, Derderian said.

Crews shut down the flow of water from the sheared hydrant, and utility crews were sent to handle any possible damage to the power pole. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
