A firefighter was injured battling a blaze that burned a two-story home in Eastvale Sunday.
Fire crews responded to the call at about 12:45 p.m. in the 7400 block of Cobble Creek Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Heavy smoke and flames were reported from the single-family home but the fire was contained by 4:30 p.m.
Officials said a firefighter was struck by “heat-related illness” at the scene and taken to a hospital.
Crews from Southern California Edison and SoCalGas, along with Riverside County sheriff’s deputies, also responded to the fire.
