A year-old child was abducted Monday from the Riverside area, prompting a statewide Amber Alert to make the public aware of the suspect and the likely vehicle he was driving.
Bradley Nicolas was snatched about 7:30 a.m., allegedly by 42-year-old Julio Ramirez, though the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department did not immediately provide details regarding the possible reason for the kidnapping, or the relationship of the suspect to the toddler, if any.
Ramirez was described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray shorts and dark-colored shoes.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the suspect may be driving a silver 2000 Dodge Caravan, California license plate 5-M-N-N-0-1-0.
Bradley is Hispanic, about 2 feet tall and 25 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. There were no details on his clothing.
Anyone who spots the vehicle, suspect or Bradley was urged to call 911.
