A vehicle crashed off the side of a roadway Friday in the Angeles National Forest and two people died.
The pair died at the scene of the crash that occurred about 9 a.m. on Angeles Crest Highway at Mile Marker 47, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Information on their identities was not immediately available.
The vehicle crashed about 20-40 feet down an embankment, according to the CHP. The circumstances of the apparent single-vehicle crash were under investigation.
