One woman and three children under the age of 8 were struck by a vehicle and injured Friday in North Hollywood, one critically.

The crash occurred around 5:50 p.m. outside 10900 Oxnard Street, near Vineland Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.

All four people were transported to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. A 5-year-old boy was listed in critical condition. The woman and the other two children were transported with moderate injuries, according to Prange. There’s no word as to whether the injured were in a crosswalk.

The condition of the driver was unknown. The crash was being investigated by Los Angeles police.
