Authorities sought the public’s help Tuesday to find a hit-and-run motorist who injured a bicyclist in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles.

The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. on Dec. 7 at Venice and Hauser boulevards, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

“A Toyota Camry was traveling westbound (on) Venice Boulevard crossing Hauser Boulevard when it collided with a bicyclist who was traveling westbound on Venice Boulevard,” an LAPD statement said.

Paramedics took the bicyclist to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A standing reward of up to $25,000 has been offered by the city of Los Angeles for information that helps solve a non-fatal hit-and-run.

Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the LAPD West Traffic Division at 213-473-0234. Tipsters may also call police at 877-LAPD-247, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
