Deputies chased an SUV to the south Los Angeles area Friday, where the vehicle stopped and a standoff ensued between the motorist and law enforcement personnel.
The brief chase led to the area of Main and 107th streets, where authorities forced the vehicle to stop at about 12:30 p.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Traffic was routed away from the area, and the standoff was continuing early Friday afternoon. The motorist was wanted in connection with an arson investigation, according to KTLA5.
