A man was rushed to a hospital Saturday evening after being shot in Long Beach.
The shooting was reported at 7:45 p.m. in the 5400 block of Paramount Boulevard, Long Beach police Lt. Jeremy Boshnack told City News Service.
The victim had a gunshot wound to his upper body, Boshnack said.
No suspect or further victim information was available, he said. Detectives were investigating at the scene.
