A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Saturday evening in Palm Desert.
The crash was reported at 6:09 p.m. at Calliandra Street and Alamo Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, fire officials said.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the crash, officials said.
