Clothing for all sizes and ages will be collected at designated Cal State Northridge home athletic events in April, beginning with Saturday’s women’s water polo game against Hawaii.
The clothing will be donated to the Good Shepherd Shelter, which serves women who are victims of domestic violence and their children. Northridge athletes have repeatedly donated items and their time to the shelter, an athletic department official said.
Clothing will also be collected at the softball doubleheader against UC Santa Barbara April 16, the beach volleyball matches against Loyola Marymount and UCLA April 20 and the baseball game against Hawaii April 22.
Fans bringing clothing to the softball doubleheader or baseball game will receive free admission. Admission is free for all fans for the women’s water polo game and beach volleyball matches.
