The hours for the shuttle bus between North Hollywood and Burbank Bob Hope Airport will be expanded to operate all-day, starting on Monday, Burbank city officials said Thursday.
The BurbankBus service between Metro’s North Hollywood Red Line Station and the airport will now run from 5:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. weekdays, not including designated holidays.
The buses will run multiple times an hour, and every 15 minutes during peak times.
Holders of monthly Metro TAP card pass with an EZ Pass will be able to transfer for free between Metro and the BurbankBus. The general fare is $1.
The shuttle will stop at the newly completed Regional Intermodal Transportation Center, a brief walk to the airport terminal.
“The NoHo Airport bus route is going to be great for both air travelers and commuters,” Burbank city planner David Kriske said.
“The increased frequency of departures and new all-day service should give workers in Burbank greater flexibility in traveling to and from work. And air travelers now have a new, direct connection between the Burbank Bob Hope Airport and Metro’s regional rail network.”
More information about the bus service is available by calling (818) 246- 4258 or online at burbankbus.org.
