A man who allegedly threw powdered sugar on singer Adam Levine outside Jimmy Kimmel’s Hollywood studio while the Maroon 5 singer was greeting fans was booked on suspicion of battery.
Bail was set at $100,000 for Navid Farsi, 28, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. It was not immediately clear if he was still in custody.
The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon as the singer interacted with fans before his scheduled appearance on Kimmel’s show, which is recorded in the talk show host’s studio in the 6800 block of Hollywood Boulevard.
Levine later performed the song “Sugar” on Kimmel’s show.
