Stewart ain’t saying. But everyone’s fantasy is Donald Trump.
The first GOP debate is scheduled that same day — Thursday in Cleveland. “The Daily Show” is taped in the late afternoon at its 733 11th Ave. Manhattan studios.
Many segments are pre-recorded, however, so a Trump appearance isn’t out of the question.
Last week, Trump told The Hill that he was asked to appear on Stewart’s final episode, saying: “They have invited me. They’re begging me to go on.”
But Daily Show executive producers denied that, telling Entertainment Weekly: “Him being invited to the last show is factually inaccurate.”

In the meantime, Stewart told an audience: “We’re gonna have a ball. I can’t wait to show my appreciation for all the support and enthusiasm that you guys have given the show all these years. So next week, tune in — it’s gonna be a ball.”
