
Salma Hayek on Monday said she’s not insulted by Donald Trump “because I cannot be insulted by stupidity.” On Wednesday, she doubled down against the GOP front-runner, saying she is worried people are taking his words as fact.
Appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America, the 48-year-old Mexican-born actress — a naturalized U.S. citizen — called the immigration issue Trump is flogging as a political device.

“Immigrants are an important force of work in the United States — anybody that’s informed knows this,” said the Los Angeles actress. “I think it is more of a hype that is Republicans and Democrats have been using these people, and this problem as a political tool for votes.”
