What could celebrity chef Paula Deen and legendary songstress Chaka Kahn actually have in common?

Both are reportedly scheduled to kick up their heels while wearing skimpy costumes on season 21 of  ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” next month, according to various reports on Twitter and around the ‘Net.

ABC has been revealing the celebrity dancers one by one leading up to the full cast reveal to be announced on Sept. 2 on “Good Morning America.”

To date, the network shared the names of three of the 13 celebs who will be showing off their dance moves starting Sept. 14 — wildlife conservationist and actress Bindi Irwin, Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter and Triple Crown-winning jockey Victor Espinoza.

Just days day before ABC revealed that Espinoza would be joining the cast, 17-year-old Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, appeared on “Good Morning America” to share the news that she would be putting on her dancing shoes on the upcoming season of DWTS.

Only 17 years old, Irwin has already appeared in quite a few films (“Free Willy: Escape from Pirate’s Cove,” “Return to Nim’s Island”) and several TV series including “Bindi’s Bootcamp” and “Steve Irwin’s Wildlife Warriors.”

With three celebrities now confirmed for the upcoming season of “Dancing with the Stars,” fans are excited to find out who the other 10 celebs are. The full cast of celebrity dancers and their pro dance partners will be revealed on “Good Morning America” on Sept. 2, but there are all kinds of rumors swirling out there to keep fans wondering who will be doing the Fox Trot.

Among those rumored: Olympic speed skater Allison Baver, “Pretty Little Liars” star Shay Mitchell, Pro-surfboarder Bethany Hamilton, reality TV star Scott Disick, American Ninja Warrior Kacy Catanzaro, and “Spy Kids” star Alexa PenaVega.

But not all celebs are keen on tripping the light fantastic. Actress Jodie Sweetin reportedly turned down an offer to dance due a scheduling conflict — she’s currently filming the Netflix series “Fuller House.” Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe is also rumored to be out of the running as is “I Am Cait” star Caitlyn Jenner’s rep also reportedly declined on behalf of the reality TV star.

“Dancing with the Stars” season 21 premieres Sept. 14 on ABC.

Are you looking forward to see Deen and/or the other celebs already announced to appear on the popular reality show?
