What’s a nice Jewish girl like Natalie Portman playing Jackie Kennedy? Well, she’s nailing the look at least.
A photo from the Paris shoot of “Jackie” shows the “Star Wars” actor doing her part to keep Camelot alive, just as “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” resurrects that Hollywood franchise.
Born Neta-Lee Hershlag in Jerusalem, Portman stars in a biopic about the four days after President Kennedy’s 1963 assassination.
“Currently shooting in Paris and slated for a 2017 release, ‘Jackie; is directed by Pablo Larraín and produced by Darren Aronofsky, reuniting Portman with the ‘Black Swan’ maestro. Peter Sarsgaard is playing Robert Kennedy and Greta Gerwig is on board as one of Kennedy’s aides,” said Huffington Post.
“Portman follows in a long line of actresses who have played Mrs. Kennedy, including Katie Holmes, Jacqueline Bisset, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Sarah Michelle Gellar.”
