Sir Elton John does a bravura performance — belting out his own songs while seated shotgun next to driver James Corden, a fellow Englishman.

Corden, the CBS host of “The Late Late Show,” has a blast driving the 68-year-old pop legend around a rainy Los Angeles to tunes including “Crocodile Rock” and “Circle of Life.”

“I’m only looking forward. I don’t look back,” John says in the 11-minute video viewed 3.1 million times since being posted Feb. 7 on YouTube. “I still have the energy of a 20-year-old, and I want to cary on.”

In the course of his chat with Corden, John confesses that he doesn’t own a mobile phone. Hence the reason for buying four albums at a time — for his four homes.

One commenter wrote: “damn they kinda look like father and son.”

Near the end of the clip, John says: “James Corden, my future husband.”

Rolling Stone noted this was the latest in a series of “Carpool Karaoke” clips.

“Fresh off giving Chris Martin a ride to the Super Bowl, James Corden was back behind the wheel…. Like previous segments, the ride was a mix of funny anecdotes and sing-alongs, with ‘Your Song,’ ‘Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me and ‘Tiny Dancer’ among the tracks the pair duet on.”
