Barry Manilow is out of surgery and doing well after being hospitalized in Los Angeles, but his doctors ordered him not to “talk, sing or rap” for four days.
“Barry thanks everyone for their well wishes and concern,” said a Facebook post Friday after suffering complications from emergency oral surgery.
Manilow was rushed to a Los Angeles-area hospital Thursday after a performance in Memphis, Tennessee. His Thursday night concert in Highland Heights and upcoming concert in Nashville, Tennessee, were to be rescheduled.

The 72-year-old singer is nominated for his 15th Grammy for his album, “My Dream Duets,” but it was unclear whether he’d attend Monday’s awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
