Michael Moore hoped to disrupt Donald Trump’s inauguration. He failed despite some protests delaying guests.

But the liberal filmmaker who Thursday night at a New York protest called the new president a “sociopath” took plenty of hits on social media.

Many on Twitter called attention to his weight.

“He can barely keep on a diet for 100 days, so a political resistance,” said Twitter user Mandi Rodrigues.

Others mocked Moore’s goal in Washington.

“@MMFlint what’s the matter?” said one using his Twitter handle. “I thought you were going to stop the inauguration? Aww poor Mikey.”

Outside Trump’s New York City International Hotel on Thursday, Moore was joined by stars Robert De Niro, Alec Baldwin and Mark Ruffalo as well as New York Mayor Bill De Blasio, the Rev. Al Sharpton and others.

“Moore started off saying it is a ‘very dangerous’ time in the United States,” reported The Hill. “With a lot of work on our part, we will stop this man. He will not last four years.”
