The rapper known as Lil Twist surrendered Friday to begin serving a one-year jail sentence for attacking a man at a party at a Miracle Mile apartment.
Christopher Lynn Moore, 23, pleaded no contest in November to one count each of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon, first-degree residential burglary, first-degree robbery and grand theft.
He was sentenced to three years probation and one year in jail.
Moore attended a party in the 300 block of Hauser Boulevard on Nov. 7, 2014, then slapped the victim in the face after he asked Moore to leave, said Deputy District Attorney Simone Shay.
Moore returned a half-hour later with four other people who jumped on and subdued the victim, according to the District Attorney’s Office. Moore then kicked the man, the prosecutor said.
