The Tupac Shakur biopic “All Eyez On Me” was third in its debut weekend, opening with $27 million.

“Cars 3” zoomed to a $53.5 million opening weekend to claim the No. 1 spot at the domestic box office this weekend, according to studio projections gathered by comScore.

The third film in Disney’s animated franchise beat out Warner Bros.’ “Wonder Woman,” which still took in a healthy $40.7 million in its third weekend of release to finish in second place.

“The Mummy” was fourth with $13.9 million.

In fifth place was the shark thriller “47 Meters Down,” which premiered with $11.5 million.

Rounding out the 10 most popular movies in the United States and Canada this weekend, as estimated by the studios and collated by comScore, were “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” ($8.4 million), “Rough Night” (premiering at $8 million), “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie” ($7.3 million), “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2” ($4.9 million) and “It Comes At Night” ($2.6 million).
