Now that the third child of the reality TV stars is known, the speculation begins on other fronts.

Bustle.com says: “What is Chicago West’s middle name? Does Chicago West even have a middle name? Will she ever? The short answer to all of the above is ‘probably not,’ although there’s truly no way to know anything except what the Kardashian-West clan chooses to tell us.”

EliteDaily says: “The next step is to make sure we pronounce it correctly. Shee? Shy? Chai latte? (Well, probably just chai, but chai latte would be a cute pet name for a baby, TBH.)”

And Romper.com sorts out the stats: “Baby Chi’s name definitely falls into the category of unique celebrity baby names, considering Baby Center data shows that only four babies out of every million born in the United States in 2015 were named Chicago.

Meanwhile, a source reportedly confirmed the hometown meaning of the name to E! News on Friday.

“Kanye came up with the name and Kim loved it the significance behind the name,” the source reportedly told E! News. Another unnamed source told E! News that West wanted to honor both his hometown and his mom, whom he was close to and who died in 2007.”
