A fire at a hotel in Anaheim near Disneyland prompted guests to evacuate the hotel Wednesday morning, according to a broadcast report.

Firefighters were called about 3 a.m to the Worldmark by Wyndham hotel in the 200 block of West Katella Avenue, according to an Anaheim Fire Department dispatcher.

NBC4 reported a fire occurred in equipment on the 11th floor of the hotel, possibly in a fan, and guests in 240 rooms evacuated the building for 45 minutes.

“The hotel alarm came on and said it was an emergency and to come outside,” Scott Hall, a tourist from Utah, told NBC4. “When we opened the door, the hallway did have smoke in it.”

All guests have returned to their rooms, NBC4 said.

No injuries were reported.
