Los Angeles Dodgers all-star pitchers Clayton Kershaw and Kenley Jansen are expected to give testimonies following Saturday’s game against the Colorado Rockies at Dodger Stadium as the team conducts Christian Faith Day.
Reliever Josh Fields, hitting coach Turner Ward and Pastor Levi Lusko, the lead pastor of Fresh Life Church — a multisite church located in Montana, Utah, Oregon, and Wyoming — and author are also expected to give testimonies. There will also be a gospel performance by the Sadoc Singers.
Retired U.S. Army Capt. Katherine Robinson will be honored as the Military Hero of the Game. She earned her commission through Army ROTC at Florida State University in 2008. She was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as an aviation battle captain.
Robinson was awarded three Army Commendation Medals, the NATO Medal, National Defense Medal and various joint and unit awards.
Robinson now performs comedy for our troops and veterans.
The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a “Puigy Bank,” a coin bank depicting Yasiel Puig sliding head-first into third base.
