Three adults were critically injured when their vehicle went off the transition between the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway to the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway and landed on a surface street, authorities said Tuesday.
The crash was reported at 10:50 p.m. Monday.
The vehicle landed in the vicinity of Venice Boulevard and Convention Center Drive, the California Highway Patrol said.
Three adults, two aged 31 and one 19, were taken to hospitals in critical condition, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.
Their genders were not available.
The CHP was investigating.
